The rap veteran said he has had headaches since last weekend’s accident.

DMX is sportin’ a couple of stitches on his melon after his brutal ATV crash last weekend … but the rapper tells TMZ he’s planning to “thug it out and get well quick.” TMZ spoke with X … who says he was released from a South Carolina hospital Sunday night … one day after flipping his 4-wheeler while riding down a hill. X says he’s still in a lot of pain … “My head still hurts bad from my concussion and I am having really bad headaches.” X suffered multiple lacerations in the wreck — and required 3 stitches to close a gash on the top of his head. Still, the rapper tells us, “It’s all good. I am going to thug it out and get well quick.” (TMZ)

X kept fans updated with his condition and confirmed the messy crash over Twitter.

“IM GOOD ! http://instagr.am/p/NEcsq9ShK8/,” he tweeted July 14th.

Reports of the rapper’s weekend misfortune emerged Saturday morning.

DMX had quite the rough ride early this morning … when he lost control of the four-wheeler he was riding and ended up in the hospital with a concussion. X tells TMZ he was riding outside his home in South Carolina when he crashed while riding down a hill. He says he flipped over and, lucky for him, landed right on his ass. The rapper says he doesn’t remember much, other than the lights from the ambulance, and he doesn’t know when he will be released. (TMZ)

Outside of the crash, X recently had a $630,000 lawsuit against him dropped.

A lawsuit against rapper DMX regarding his failed comeback tour in 2011 has been dropped. The $630,000 (£404,000) suit was launched by bosses at Heavy Rotation in March over claims that they signed a deal to create a string of comeback shows for the ‘Up In Here’ rapper. However, they argued that they were cut out of the deal when the rapper’s legal woes prevented him from performing overseas. (Digital Spy)
