Referring to Plies by his new song “Bruh Bruh,” X explained what issues he had with him.

Recently freed rapper DMX made waves in Saint Louis over the weekend, during an appearance on Hot 104.1. The rapper appeared on the Young Dip‘s show and after Young Dip finished playing a song by Fort Meyers, Florida rapper Plies, DMX shared his opinion with the station’s hundreds-of-thousands of listeners. While DMX co-signed T.I. as his favorite artists out right now, he blasted Plies. “I don’t even know who the worst is, but he has to be one of the worst,” DMX said. “I mean ‘Bruh Bruh?’ Serious? that has to be one of the worst. How do you even fix your mouth to say that or spell that? I am looking at how it’s spelled.” The rapper then got serious and revealed a more positive side, that could be featured on his upcoming album. “On a serious note, what a lot of people don’t understand, is that we as artists, are teachers. And if you teach people to spell like that and talk like that, then you dumber than the people you are supposed to be teaching.” (All Hip Hop)

Last month, X gave his first public interview since being released early from jail on a reckless driving conviction.

“I’m good, life is good, God is great man,” X said in an August interview with rap personality Super Snake. “And it’s gonna get better. With this last one, I had been sitting for 90 days, since like January or February and this whole time, by thegrace of God, I was given the opportunity to pick the time. I thought ‘Let me knock it out’ because I got a lot of work to do in L.A. and I don’t want to get snagged, get it over with. It was only 90 days anyway. BFW, baby. Built For War…[Me and my son’s] relationship is not the best right now but it’s gonna get better. All he’s known his whole life is me being there and now me and his mother are separated, we’re not together anymore and it’s been like five, six years but that’s my first born. That’s my baby.” (101.5 Jamz)

Upon the completion of a 90-day sentence as the result of a reckless driving conviction, DMX was released from jail.

DMX has just been released from an L.A. jail … after serving 18 days of a 90-day sentence stemming from a reckless driving conviction in 2002. Before X began his sentence, the rapper said he was dedicated to taking “steps toward regaining everything I’ve lost. FYI — Lindsay Lohan also had a 90-day sentence … but she got out in 14 days. (TMZ)

Details on X’s decision to turn himself over to authorities landed online last July.

DMX turned himself in to the Los Angeles Metropolitan Courthouse on Monday afternoon (July 26) at about 2:30 p.m. to begin serving a 90-day sentence stemming from a 2002 reckless driving charge, according to his attorney. X was arrested for DUI way back in ’02, but reached a plea deal for a lesser charge of reckless driving, the rapper’s lawyer, Aja Southern, told MTV News. Southern alleged that a series of events, including X having to serve time in anArizona jail on an unrelated charge, had caused her client to postpone his L.A. sentence. (MTV)
