With the outpouring of support for Shyne since his release from jail last week, SOHH decided to hit up DJ Webstar to find out if the producer/rapper planned on getting in line for a collaboration with the former Bad Boy protege.

Admitting he was open to all joint records, Webstar also revealed his respect for Shyne.

“Yeah, of course [I’d work with him], I wanna work with everybody,” Webstar explained. “I don’t got no problems with nobody. I like everybody man. I like everybody who likes me man. You know, I’m not a hater, I’m not taking away from nobody, I’m not saying anybody is a hater, but I’m not a hater. So if you wanna make some good music, I would love to work with Shyne. I liked all Shyne’s stuff that he came out with, even the stuff he came out with when he was in jail. I remember when he did the freestyle over the phone to the Usher ‘Confession’ record. That was hot, he made history with that.” (SOHH)

The Clipse‘s Pusha T also told SOHH he wanted to hit the studio with Shyne.

“October 6th I hear, I hear [laughs],” Pusha jokingly confirmed. “I want a feature, I want a feature, I want a feature, I want a feature. Period. When the reports talked about Shyne coming home — we reached out to Shyne for Hell Hath No Fury, early. We reached out to [Jive Records executive] Mark Pitts, we reached out to Shyne early. And I think, you know, we had communication with all them and that’s why The Clipse got a shout-out in, what was that, Godfather Buried Alive? So I-want-a-feature-when-you-get-home! I been supporting you, I been everything. We’ve been riding around listening to Shyne, we never stopped. It never stops, Shyne is the man.” (SOHH)

While still being decided whether he will be allowed to stay in the United States or be deported to Belize, Shyne released a statement last week denying a conversation he supposedly had with Diddy.

“I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs’ imagination,” he says in a statement. “He never spoke with me, he never visited me nor would I ever accept a phone call or visit from him. The only way I would do either of those things would be if he stepped up and did the right thing for the victims of the incident.” (Rolling Stone)

In addition to his thoughts on Shyne’s release, Diddy previously said they spoke to one another.

“It’s a blessing that he’s coming home,” Puff told DJ Absolut in an interview last month. “I spoke with him a couple weeks ago. He sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can’t wait to get home. And I know he’s definitely gonna heat the whole scene up. He’s definitely gonna do it, you know what I’m saying, he definitely was one of the most talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with so I’m quite sure he’s been using his time wisely and I’m quite sure he has some heat.” (YouTube)
