Hours after the reports landed online, Khaled took to Twitter and seemingly killed the gossip.

“dont believe everything u hear from f*ck boys yall know way better than that!U know wht’s up the more success the more the f*ck boys wnt put lies out thr. I tell the f*ck boys bow dn #KISSTHERING!,” he tweeted August 12th. (DJ Khaled’s Twitter)

Reports of the alleged $55,000 debt hit the Internet early Sunday.

DJ Khaled can spin it anyway he wants … but his landlord has sued to have him evicted, claiming the famous deejay failed to pay $55,000 in back rent. According to court docs filed in Miami, Khaled rented an apartment last September from Misci LLC and agreed to make two bulk payments of $66,000 for rent. Khaled made the first payment, but according to the landlord’s lawsuit … he failed to make the second one after re-working the deal to pay $11,000 upfront and the remaining $55,000 a month later. The reports also claim he refused to pay the debt after multiple attempts.

Two weeks later, Misci says they gave Khaled three days notice to vacate the property, but he refused. Misci then filed a lawsuit to get their money back (plus attorneys’ fees) and have Khaled removed from the apartment. The case is still ongoing. We reached out multiple times to Khaled’s lawyer and rep … no word back. (TMZ)

Outside of the legal dispute, Khaled is preparing for the release of his upcoming Kiss the Ring album.

DJ Khaled’s Kiss the Ring album is due on August 21, and it’s certainly not light on features. Over the span of 12 tracks, expect to find Nas, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T, and the usual suspects like Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Ace Hood and Tyga. (Rapfix)
