Although they have not yet worked together, Khaled is confident in their chemistry.

“When I do get in the studio with him, I promise you, we gon’ make something so f*cking crazy. I’m telling Eminem right now, if we get in the studio I know that I’m going to get the best out of Eminem, and he’s going to write the most incredible verse that he’s ever written in his life, and it’s going to be the biggest f*cking anthem in the streets and it’s going to be the biggest anthem when we get together, and I know this for a fact, and God willing, it’s going to happen. I already have some people in mind, that’s something I want to discuss with him first. It’s definitely going to be a collabo track, but it’s going to be the great ones. But the thing is, I just gotta get with Em. I just gotta get with Em in the studio to present the concept and then from there, he’s going to say Khaled, turn the mic on. And I’m going to say, of course I am. It’s going to be anthematic. It’s going to be the biggest anthem in the world. I’ma find a way, don’t worry.” (VIBE)

Earlier this year, Ludacris said he, too, wanted to link with Em.

“I always wanted to work with Dr. Dre and I got a chance to work with him and then Eminem, I’ve talked to Eminem so hopefully we can make that happen,” Luda said about collaborating with both artists. “I was definitely doing a little ghostwriting but you know, we’ll see what happens. He has a lot of different tracks that he has to choose from for the Detox album so it is what it is. I think he has the chemistry and exactly what everyone wants, it’s about staying innovative, being yourself and always have the good music. Good music will last throughout the ages no matter how things change and he always produces some good music.” (Young Hollywood)

Dipset‘s Juelz Santana recently discussed wanting an opportunity to share a collaboration with Slim Shady.

“Eminem is my n*gga, seriously, that’s what I been trying to get on the ‘Rap Cemetery’ with me and [Lil Wayne], Eminem,” Santana said in a UStream broadcast. “Because he puts n*ggas in the rap cemetery for real. Em, holla at me, get at me, what’s up? I’m here. That’s the only n*gga I really, you know, that I’ll get on aUStream or anywhere like, ‘Yo, I need to holler at Em.’ I f*cks with Em hardbody, matter of fact, I might have to call Weezy up and have him connect the dots for me. They just put that little nice f*cking ‘Drop The World’ on you…” (UStream TV)

Eminem’s new album, Recovery, currently holds the top slot on the sales charts.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem’s Recovery has shown no signs of slowing down as it scanned 195,500 records this week. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Slim Shady’s latest offering has sold 1,482,500 records in one month of availability. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
