Atlanta's DJ Drama recently addressed talks of a past Chief Keef mixtape never dropping and admitted neither of them came to terms with a collaborative effort.

According to Drama, they never made an agreement to put together a rumored Finally Rich ‘tape.

“I never was really. I had brief conversations with Chief Keef but we never finalized or agreed on the tape,” Drama revealed. “All I know is that he put out a cover with my name on it and I didn’t ever know anything about that and I told him, “Yo, I didn’t OK that.” Other than that, the plans for me hosting this tape were never 100 percent. I haven’t spoken with Chief Keef in a couple of months.” (Complex)

Reports of their joint project dropping heated up the Internet last spring.

Fresh off his Back From The Dead mixtape, which dropped in March; Chief Keef preps the release of his follow-up mixtape, Finally Rich, hosted by DJ Drama. Finally Rich is scheduled to drop on May 24 — which is tomorrow. We’ve heard a ton of leaks over the past few weeks, so we’ll see what’s actually going to make the cut. That was quick. The Chicago rapper later got with other deejays to complete his mixtape.

Looks like DJ Drama has been replaced by DJ Victoriouz and DJ Holiday for Chief Keef’s “Finally Rich” mixtape. Here is the new artwork for the tape which should be dropping soon. Expect to see Waka Flocka, Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti and his GBE family on the project. Update: Hopefully the 3rd time’s a charm as Chief Keef has switched up the artwork for his tape again. Last month, G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T revealed he put Kanye West up on Keef.

“Fast forward to I’m in New York finding beats for my album. Me and Ye are … everybody from Chicago happened to be in the room at this time. I was like, “Yo, what’s going on in the Chi man? Y’all ain’t f*cking with Keef?” They were like, “What? You like Keef?” Ye was like, “Who is Chief Keef?” I go to the computer, plug it up to the big speakers and he [Kanye] says, “Oh my God. This is incredible. This producer is incredible. I love it as a whole but this producer is incredible.” I was like, “Yo, for real, he’s a young kid from Chicago. We should probably just do a remix, throw him a bone.”” (Vulture)
