After recent speculation of them working together in the studio emerged online, SOHH hit up DJ Drama to find out what's going on between him and pop sensation Justin Bieber.

Although a Gangsta Grillz mixtape is not yet ready to be confirmed, Drama gave his reaction to fans waiting for Bieber to finally curse on a record.

“That’s the home man, shout outs to the little homie,” Drama told SOHH referring to Bieber. “Could we hear him curse [in the future]? I mean, you know, he’s growing into a young man. It’s kind of hard for a young man to not curse. How many young men do you know who have not cursed? As far as the mixtape status with the homie, you know, we’re just kicking it and vibing out. We haven’t even gotten to that point yet.” (SOHH)

In late August, Drama was spotted in the studio alongside Biebs.

In an unexpected turn of events singer Justin Bieber has been spotted in the studio with DJ Drama. Earlier today (Aug. 31) Drama tweeted out a photo of himself with the pop superstar in the lab. Apparently the two are working on Justin Bieber’s Gangsta Grillz mixtape. (VIBE)

Recently, Young Money’s Drake shared his disappointment in not hearing Bieb curse after covering his “Trust Issues” record this month.

When Justin Bieber dropped his remix of Drake’s “Trust Issues” over the weekend, many wondered whether the 17-year-old pop star would keep the lyrics intact and throw out F-bombs and the track’s other profanities. The baby-faced singer most certainly did not, trading Drake’s “F— it, I’m on one” line for “You know I’m on one.” “I wish he would’ve left all the cuss words in it. I feel like that would’ve been so G, if he would’ve done all the swearing,” Drake told MTV News from Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter IV release party on Sunday. “I was excited when I heard he remixed it, because there was like a gang of swearing in that song. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re about to hear the transformation of Bieber.'” (MTV)

This week, the 17 year-old pop star gave Lil Wayne something to smile about by covering his “How To Love” single.

If you, like Vulture, forgot to send a really awesome present, don’t worry; Justin Bieber was on top of it. Young Biebs tweeted out a remix of Wayne’s oft-maligned hit single “How to Love” late last night, with an obligatory birthday greeting. Okay, hear us out: Even if you weren’t a fan of the slightly dull original, you might enjoy this cover. In fact, this cover might explain why many Wayne devotees weren’t particularly jazzed on the single. This is actually a Justin Bieber song! Granted, Biebs tries a lot harder in his version: We’re talking harmonies, a meandering guitar riff, and even a brief appearance by Shawty Mane (that would be Bieber’s rapping alter ego, though this breathy verse maybe only counts as half-rap).
