This summer, Diddy is rallying up his Bad Boy alumni for a nationwide tour.

Kicking off August 25th in Columbus, OH, PUFF DADDY, LIL’ KIM, MASE, FAITH EVANS, MARIO WINANS, 112, TOTAL, CARL THOMAS, THE LOX and FRENCH MONTANA will take the stage to perform hit after hit, cementing Bad Boy’s place as the driving force behind hip hop and R&B music and culture. Tickets for the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, produced exclusively by Live Nation, will be available at www.livenation.com and www.ticketmaster.com beginning Friday, May 20th.

Recently, 112’s Slim talked to SOHH about Diddy’s plans to retire from album-making.

“My take on Diddy retiring? Yeah right. But what I really think is our job is very grueling. We make it seem very fun. When you’re going out here, of course you’re giving amazing music and the music that Bad Boy has put out in 20-plus years? This is an era. We still have imprints. There are artists that have Bad Boy imprints on them that are still on the charts. You have someone even like myself doing an interview with SOHH 20 years later. I’ve been doing this for 20 years and having this type of success.” (SOHH)

Slim also discussed how busy Puff Daddy has remained over the last 20 years.

“The job is very grueling so who knows? Puff has a lot of entities that he has going on and he has nothing to prove here. He lives on Forbes. But at the same time, he probably just needs a break. He probably just needs to chill out. How many times have you seen a boxer say, “I’m retired,” and then something inspires them to come back. That’s basically how Puff works. Once you’re working on the passion of everything, that’s what drives you back. He’s probably asking himself, “What else do I have to prove?” Or “What else have I done that I haven’t done already?” When you have those types of thoughts, he’s probably thinking, “Maybe I should just retire.” If it’s not retirement, then maybe just falling back a little bit.” (SOHH)
