According to Los, he can now proudly call RCA Records his new home.

Check out what Los said about splitting with Bad Boy right here…

Back in March, Los said a large portion of his decision to dip from Bad Boy had to do with seeking freedom.

‘The decision to pursue other endeavors–it was recent,” said Los. “It’s just like, I’ve been doing a considerable amount of work with my tapes and my tours, and a lot of times things conflict with the other schedules. So if I have to do extra and have to do more then I’m going to need that freedom to go out and do certain things and have access to things. A lot of times it’s a business and takes longer when you’re under someone’s command. It has nothing to do with Bad Boy; it has everything to do with me and the way I want to move.” (XXL Mag)

Although he did not go into full detail, Los previously admitted having a connection to Diddy’s secret rant featured on Rick Ross‘ “Nobody.”

“I had something to do with it,” Los admitted, being very vague about the whole thing. Whether or not that Rick Ross skit had anything to do with Los’ departure from the label, or was directed at him at all, is unclear. Los instead just chooses to give small pieces of the story. “I have the full conversation, that’s only bits and fragments,” he said. “Man, listen: it was some more devastating things said.” (MTV)

The East Coast rapper has had an on-again, off-again relationship with Puff dating back to the mid-2000’s.

The artist initially landed a deal with Combs in 2005 after auditioning for the hip-hop mogul’s reality TV show Making the Band 2, but he was dropped in 2008. He re-signed with Bad Boy Records in 2012 after releasing a series of well-received mixtapes, but the two parties have since decided to call it quits once again before the rapper, aka King Los, could release his debut album.
