Despite not getting an opportunity to work on this release, Raja said Diddy’s material will be nothing less than impressive.

“Nah, I did submit and write a couple joints but it’s on a whole ‘nother direction so it’s not a lot of rap music so I did submit,” Mista Raja informed SOHH. “But it’s a whole ‘nother wavelength. I was over there the other night at the studio and they had a little private listening session and I heard it and am gonna say the album is incredible. It wasn’t every record but he had a solid eight that I was like, ‘Wow.'” (SOHH)

Raja also said fans could expect an experimental approach similar to Kanye West‘s 808’s & Heartbreak.

“Well it is experimental, I would lean more toward 808’s & Heartbreak than Jay‘s Blueprint III,” Raja added. “Like from what I heard of the album, I didn’t love everything but he’s got a solid eight that I could see myself bumping. You know, you can never count Diddy out. As a producer, he’s one of the producers that I look up to and there’s only a few producers — you can’t count it out but it is a solid album, it’s up to the people to make it a classic. When it all comes back and all the conversations are there, that’s when you’re gonna know if you got a classic album or not but I definitely support it and respect it, shout-outs to Diddy.” (SOHH)

Producer/Ghostwriter Rico Love recently said Puff’s upcoming album would be a classic.

“If he comes out and the record is not good, then y’all are gonna trash him but with the fact that he went in and he said ‘I’m gonna take my time until I’m happy with what I’m delivering to the people,’ I really take my hat off to Puff, I take my hat off to the whole Dirty Money crew — it’s tough for an artist to deal with that type of pressure,” Love said in an interview. “I think it’s gonna be one of the best albums to come out, and I’m really gonna say this, it’s gonna be one of the best albums to come out in the past five, six years. It’s gonna be mentioned with 808’s & Heartbreak and College Dropout, Blueprint III, like those types of albums I really feel like, ‘Dangerously in Love,’ I think that Last Train to Paris album has the possibility to be that big.” (Rap-Up TV)

Raja is most known for penning hits for Diddy and Lil Kim.
