According to Ricky Rozay, he had no doubts about securing Puffy to executive produce his new LP.

“Diddy is one of the greatest producers of all time and someone I respect. He has a proven track record of not only creating hit records but also classic albums. It just made sense for me to have him be a part of this process.” (Statement)

Diddy has confirmed his revamped role on the project and credited various producers.

“It’s a team effort. Ross, Khaled, Gucci Pucci and I are like a family. The goal for Mastermind was to create a classic album. Once we put all our superpowers together we knew there was nothing stopping us from accomplishing our goal.” (Statement)

Barring any setbacks, Rozay’s newest solo offering will battle it out this March.

Teaming with REVOLT to make the official announcement via a cinematic trailer, the Bawse will be unleashing his biggest album to date on March 4, 2014. The 47-second teaser clip directed by Hype Williams finds the Maybach Music head honcho setting the scene for an LP that many are already expecting to be his sixth consecutive masterpiece. It was around this time last year that Ross announced the title of the album, which was followed by new singles like “Box Chevy” and “No Games,” as well as an 8-city Mastermind Tour. Now with a brand new Jay Z-assisted single currently burning up the airwaves, the Bawse is back to take center position. (REVOLT TV)

In December, the “Bawse” promised his LP would arrive sometime in 2014.

“It’s coming soon. Top of the year. Yeah. I still got to put a few details into it. I got to. Everybody will thank me later. [Guest features?] Bobby Womack. I collaborated with the legendary Bobby Womack. I got in the studio with a few people, man, just to do a lot of different things and it’s gonna be some dope sh*t.” (Rap-Up)
