Bad Boy Entertainment CEO Diddy has confirmed recent buzz and speculation about his long-awaited No Way Out 2 album being his way into retirement.
In a new interview, Puff Daddy reveals what he plans to do after retiring from album-releasing.
Covering the June issue of Cigar Aficionado magazine, Diddy spoke on his plans for retiring from music – and they include a world tour. “I’m going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time to doing films … I want to stop at a great place,” the 46-year-old. “And a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it once last time.” (People)
Diddy unleashed a flurry of promotional clips promoting No Way Out 2 with rap star Rick Ross and late protégé Notorious B.I.G.‘s vocals together in mid-March.

Back in November, Diddy talked about putting out his MMM album out without a price tag.
“This is free everywhere,” he said, “that’s the beauty about this project for an artist like myself and somebody that’s worked so hard to be successful and understand what’s going on right now and to embrace it and to learn so much.” Combs also announced that his next album, “No Way Out 2,” will be his final album when it is released next year. Last year, Diddy updated fans on the status of his next solo album.
“Right now I’m just making music. I haven’t really decided if I’m putting out an album or a title. There’s a lot of things motivating it. One thing is your best body of work, which is No Way Out, and really channeling that. Like I said, I’m taking the backseat approach to being a producer and a platform, just as it was for The Lox, Ma$e and [Lil’] Kim and so on. That’s really what it is.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
