Hip-Hop mogul Diddy has put together an interactive website using concepts from his upcoming album Last Train to Paris to promote his new solo project.
The Bad Boy CEO’s latest creation introduces fans to music and a mock ticket from London to Paris.
Diddy has recently launched this high concept teaser site at LastTrainToParis.com which at the moment just contains links to his other sites and a mock train ticket where you can fill out your info. Our sources state an update for the site will be made in the coming month. Links include Diddy.com, Diddy’s YouTube page, SeanJohn.com, Ciroc, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other Diddy-based sites. His new site follows-up a variety of new Internet projects Diddy has begun, including the launch of “P.Twitty TV” earlier this month.
By launching “P. Twitty TV,” Diddy has created an unprecedented personal social networking experience with his Twitter followers, giving them a nearly real-time view of his daily happenings. Every thirty minutes during the video blog’s first hours, Diddy directed his Twitter followers to “P. Twitty TV” to see candid moments. (Press Release)
The producer-turned-rapper’s upcoming album will revolve around a fictional love story between Diddy and a woman he meets while in Europe.
“I’m infatuated with her, really blown away,” Diddy said in an interview. “We wind up spending the night together. I never get her name. When I wake up, she’s gone. A couple of months go by, and I bump into her again on tour overseas.” The story will not only be told in an album, he is planning a short film to go along with it, and a DVD of the movie will be included with the CD. It will also feature a star-studded line-up of producers.
As with all of his albums, the new CD will include collaborations with hot-right-now producers The-Dream and T-Pain and perhaps overly familiar names on the urban-pop front; The Neptunes, Rodney Jerkins, Mario Winans and Tricky. (Baltimore Sun)
