Reality superstar Khloe Kardashian is reportedly on the verge of changing her marital status to "single" as reports claim she will file for divorce today (December 13) from NBA free agent Lamar Odom.
According to reports, KK will finally get the speculated divorce proceedings rolling after a four-year run with Odom.
Khloe Kardashian is filing for divorce from Lamar Odom … TODAY … TMZ has learned. Sources tell us, Khloe will be citing irreconcilable differences in her legal docs. The split should be pretty cut and dry — an ironclad prenup which kept all their assets separate … and no kids. As we reported, Lamar’s bizarre freestyle rap video — in which he brags about cheating on Khloe — was the last straw in their crumbling relationship. Immediately after TMZ posted the video last month, Khloe stopped wearing her wedding ring. The end was a long time coming … Khloe had expressed dire concerns about the marriage ever since she learned about Lamar’s crack addiction earlier this year, but she forestalled divorce for fear he’d OD or worse. Lamar and Khloe tied the knot in September 2009. (TMZ)
Despite the perception and photos of them together on numerous accounts, rapper Game recently said Khloe would always be a sister to him.
“Khloe is one of my best friends in life,” Game explained in an interview. “Me, Khloe and three other of my friends, who were all males, we all had a house that we all rented that was in Burbank when we all were, I guess struggling artists or trying to figure out where we go next. Or trying to figure out where we were going to end up in life. And Khloe was one of our roommates. We have a five-bedroom house and it was me, Khloe and like I said – two and three of my other friends. That’s where me and Khloe’s relationship comes from. It’s not physical, sexual, whatever. Khloe’s like a sister to me and will always be a good friend to me and that’s where it stops.” (Civil TV)
He also spoke on Kardashian’s close-knit relationship to Odom.
“Lamar [Odom]‘s the homie, that’s his wife. Khloe’s loyal to their marriage, so that’s what it is,” Game added. “I understand the media and people see stuff and try to twist it but that ain’t nothing. Tiffany ain’t never seen a picture of me and Khloe and came at me like, ‘Yo, what you doing with Khloe?,’ ’cause that’s family. That’s what it is.” (Civil TV)
Back in October, the rap heavyweight said Khloe was too much of a family friend to be anything more.

She is like a sister.
