Music publication XXL Magazine has finally unveiled the cover to their annual Freshman Class this week.
This year’s roundup includes a wide array of hip-hop stars including Detroit’s Dej Loaf and Atlanta rapper K Camp.
This year’s selection process was, as always, an especially tough one, but we’ll get to that later. Without further ado, the 10 MCs in the 2015 XXL Freshman Class are DeJ Loaf, Fetty Wap, GoldLink, K Camp, OG Maco, Raury, Shy Glizzy, Tink, Vince Staples and the winner of the fan-voted 10th Spot, Kidd Kidd. Never heard of “Goldlink”, but they pretty much nailed it with the rest of em because they’ve been puttin in work over the last year or so. Can’t even throw shade at the list this time around. I’m calling it now though, when it come time to do the XXL freestyles, 3-4 of these dudes/chicks are gonna sound like straight ASS.
