With the long-awaited return of elusive singer Justin Timberlake in full effect, SOHH reached out to former Danity Kane/Dirty Money member Dawn Richard for her take on JT’s comeback.
In Dawn’s perspective, Justin’s ability to flip the switch and drop his new “Suit & Tie” after a brief music hiatus is beyond impressive.
“I think it’s legendary and the reason why I say that is because he’s managed to rest and take a break in such a way where he was successful in something completely different. He created a craft in acting, really was successful in that and then to be able to come back in such a way, and do it in such a classy way, the way he did it, that’s legendary in itself,” Dawn told SOHH, referring to JT. “He did it in a way where you weren’t oversaturated, which was perfect. You stay out the game and then came back with a new sound, a new plan and you can always respect someone who has a plan like that.” (SOHH)
