Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade is adding another ring to his collection after proposing to longtime Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union over the weekend.
According to reports, D-Wade popped the big question to Union Saturday (December 21).
“She said YES!!!” That was the tweet that NBA star Dwyane Wade used Saturday to announce his engagement to actress Gabrielle Union. Wade made the announcement via Twitter and Instagram, posting a photo of the stunning solitaire diamond. Wade, 31, a guard with the Miami Heat, and the 41-year-old Union have been dating several years. Among Wade’s many accomplishments, according to his website, are winning a gold medal in the 2008 Olympics, being named one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People and earning back-to-back NBA championship rings — in 2012 and 2013. Estimates on just how much Wade likely dropped on the fancy ring have already surfaced.

It will be the second marriage for both Union, 41, and Wade, who turns 32 next month. No date has been announced, and the couple did not release any formal statements about the engagement Saturday night. (USA Today)

LeBron James has another ring. The Miami Heat star married Savannah Brinson in San Diego on Saturday, according to two people familiar with the details of the ceremony. About 200 guests were present for the ceremony, said one of the people, both of whom spoke on condition of anonymity because the hotel wedding was private and the couple had yet to release any details. The ceremony was the highlight of a three-day celebration that will conclude with a brunch on Sunday. (USA Today)
