A former Las Vegas Metropolitan police officer has come forward nearly 20 years after the murder of Tupac Shakur to reveal his alleged last words. #PacWords
According to reports, ex-law enforcement worker Chris Carroll spent some final moments with Pac in September 1996.
“So I’m looking at Tupac, and he’s trying to yell back at Suge [Knight], and I’m asking him, ‘Who shot you? What happened? Who did it?’ And he was just kind of ignoring me. He was making eye contact with me here and there, but he’s trying to yell at Suge. And I kept asking over and over, ‘Who did this? Who shot you?’ And he basically kept ignoring me. And then I saw in his face, in his movements, all of a sudden in the snap of a finger, he changed. And he went from struggling to speak, being noncooperative, to an ‘I’m at peace’ type of thing. Just like that.” (Vegas Seven)
Carroll also recalled Pac becoming unconscious following a less-than-friendly final remark.
“He went from fighting to ‘I can’t do it.’ And when he made that transition, he looked at me, and he’s looking right in my eyes. And that’s when I looked at him and said one more time, ‘Who shot you?’ “He looked at me and he took a breath to get the words out, and he opened his mouth, and I thought I was actually going to get some cooperation. And then the words came out: ‘F*ck you.’ “After that, he started gurgling and slipping out of consciousness. At that point, an ambulance showed up, and he went into unconsciousness.” (Vegas Seven)
In an interview earlier this month, Pac’s former Death Row boss Suge Knight took ample shots at his notorious mid-1990’s music biz rival.
Suge Knight just fired a metaphorical shot at P. Diddy … telling us he’s a “bitch ass” who should be getting more heat for the murder of Tupac Shakur. Suge was leaving 1Oak last night when he unleashed a rant about Tupac’s death, saying … “Everybody know off the top, I ain’t the n**** killed Tupac. I’m the n**** protected Tupac!” Then he points a finger directly at Diddy — “Bitch ass Puffy can get him a mutha******* star, and every rat in the world say he’s the one who killed Tupac, or had him shot.” (TMZ)
Last year, Houston rapper Scarface claimed he could have saved Pac’s life.
“That sh*t probably wouldn’t have even happened. I think there’s a lot of sh*t that goes on that I say, ‘Man, I could have saved that boy if I was with him. I could have saved that headache.’ That’s with everybody. There’s a whole lot of sh*t people go through. I could save you from that sh*t. Mike Tyson was my homeboy back then, I could have saved him from that bullsh*t — I could have saved him from that bullsh*t.” (“The Combat Jack Show”)
