G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Consequence has weighed-in on pal Kid Cudi taking a public shot at Big Sean. The New York native explained why their overnight feud is a touchy situation.
In Cons’ opinion, he understands why Cudi might have gone after Sean based on his relationship with producer Dot da Genius.
“I’m aware of it. I mean, it’s a little disturbing to see that because they were cool as sh*t at one point,” Cons said referring to Cudder allegedly dissing Sean. “It’s hard, man, when – that’s a hard situation to be in though for everybody involved. I don’t know the extent of Jhené [Aiko] and Dot’s marriage. I’m not there. I know it’s kind of, really, if that’s Sean’s girl right now, he’s going to feel a way and, you know, Dot and Cudi have been rocking since [2010’s] “Pursuit of Happiness.” So that’s a long friendship, making a lot of money together, making a lot of music together, having a long history and then there’s a woman involved.” (Power 106 FM)
