Consequence Gives Amber Rose A Pass In Kanye West Dispute, “I Relate To Who She Is”

Former G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence has relaxed Amber Rose fans concerned he will include the blonde bombshell in his current publicized rant against Kanye West.

Despite featuring a shot of West and ex-girlfriend Rose in his Movies On Demand 3 mixtape trailer, the Cons promises he has no issues with her.

“Before I go any further, shout out to Amber (Rose),” said a relaxed Consequence. “I relate to who she is. I understand who she is as a woman. I wanna say this it out loud, I don’t think any woman ever wants to be in the position where their livelihood is compromised. No woman ever wants to ever have to work in (famed strip bar) Sue’s Rendezvous. She navigated herself the best way she could. It was a survival tactic.” (RapFix)

Earlier this week, Cons revealed his contribution to all of West’s albums to date.

“It is true I participated in writing with Kanye. You could read it on credits on 808s and Heartbreaks, College Dropout. Every album that he’s had, I’ve been involved from a creative aspect in writing of songs,” Cons said. “Check the credits, I get that publishing.” (MTV)

Last fall, Cons dropped his “Man Purses” record which subliminally went at G.O.O.D. Music.

“I ain’t like the rest of these dudes,” Cons raps on the song. “I ain’t in to man purses or the bland verses/I put more emphasis, on what the fans purchase/I hear Cam‘s verses, over ‘Runaway,’ if they ain’t writing, the new dudes ain’t got nothing to say/But what’s the sense of having soldiers who don’t kick bars/If you can smell the odor from the discharge…” (“Man Purses”)

Following the song’s release, G.O.O.D Music’s Pusha T weighed in on Cons’ remarks.

“I heard it, but [then] I look at Consequence and I think about the history him and that whole G.O.O.D. Music family has together and Kanye [West] and so forth,” told interviewer Karen Civil about “Man Purses.” “If it’s even anything at all, I look at it as a spat. It ain’t nothing. I don’t know, I don’t really know how to look at it.” (Karen Civil)
