R&B singer Ciara is doing big things in 2017. Months ahead of giving birth to her second child, the crooner has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records.

CiCi went to Instagram Friday (January 27) to break the major news to fans.

Recently, CiCi settled a nasty child custody battle with ex-fiancé Future.

Sources close to the exes tell TMZ … they’ve agreed to joint custody, however, baby Future will be with Ciara most of the time. Future is frequently on the road, but when he’s back in the ATL he’ll have reasonable access to his son. Our sources say both Future and Ciara want to close this chapter and move on with their lives. Earlier this month, they also buried a publicized $15 million defamation suit.

The singer just filed legal docs in Superior Court in Fulton County, GA, ending her case which was triggered by a radio interview Future did followed up by tweets in which he accused her of being a control freak and a bad mom. According to the docs, the case has been dismissed “with prejudice” … meaning she can’t refile it. Our sources say Future didn’t pay her a penny in return for the dismissal. But based on all the evidence, it seems almost certain they have also reached agreement on custody of 2-year-old baby Future. (TMZ)

Last year, Future allegedly took shots at the crooner with his “How It Feel” song.

Produced by Mike WiLL Made It, Future seemingly goes in on his famous muse, rapping, “ask me how it feel to smash an R&B sh*t,” before crediting himself with turning Ciara into a star again. “I made you b*tch,” he raps in the song’s outro, “b*tch you was never for me, I gave you fame on the ‘Gram. I put you back on the charts, I gave you number 1 spot.” (UPROXX)
