Rihanna struck first by calling out Ciara and then later apologizing for her words.

“My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme,” Rihanna tweeted Friday (February 25) night.

“U gangsta huh? Haaa Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of”

“Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup” (Rihanna’s Twitter)

Prior to eventually accepting her apology, Ciara challenged Rihanna with her own tweets.

“Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage … pure comedy…,” she tweeted Friday.

“Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.” (Ciara’s Twitter)

The feud reportedly stemmed from a televised interview Ciara gave last night.

The latest feud to play out over Twitter is between Ciara and Rihanna after the ‘Goodies’ singer made some low comments about her on E!’s “Fashion Police.” Ciara stated that Rihanna used to be a nice girl but when the pair last spent time together, Rihanna was not very nice. “I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn’t the nicest,” she said. Outside of beefing, Rihanna’s latest solo album is nearing platinum status.

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna’s Loud received a two-slot loss to No. 10 with 45,200. With 14 weeks knocked out, RiRi’s new album has shelled out 976,300 records to date. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
