While Inglish is on great terms with Spitta, he did admit time restraints have kept them from getting fresh joints out to the masses.

“No, but our relationship is good,” Inglish told SOHH when asked if any new music is on deck. “We’ve just been busy and I haven’t had too much in passing with him as I used to. Sh*t, I would love to sit down with him, but we always had that agreement, that if we’re going to make something together we’ve got to be in the same area. We got to sit down and do it, and we haven’t had that chance. We’re not going to make a record like that, it just doesn’t make sense.” (SOHH)

Curren$y previousy discussed linking up with Chuck for a new project.

As for his project with Inglish, Curren$y says the two musicians simply need to set aside the time to work. “Me and Chuck are definitely going to do that. We just gotta rent a house like, on the beach or something and just get on some ‘Entourage’ sh*t and just bang that sh*t out in a minute. I’ve got one of the beats in my email already, and I’ve had it forever, there’s just so much sh*t that’s going on and I keep popping up and sporadically doing tapes, but that is a project we’re going to sit down and really work on.” (The Versed)

Inglish has kept busy since the start of 2014 with new music including his “Legs” banger.

On April 8, the Cool Kids’ Chuck Inglish will release his debut solo LP Convertibles via Dave Sitek‘s label Federal Prism and Inglish’s own Sounds Like Fun. The LP was co-produced by Inglish and Incubus’ Mike Einziger, and it features collaborations with Chance the Rapper, Action Bronson, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller, Sir Michael Rocks (the other Cool Kid), and more.
