R&B singer Chris Brown has slightly addressed what went down last summer in New York City and explained his resistance in detailing out the publicized Drake brawl.
According to Chris Breezy, he is limited on what all he can discuss regarding the summer incident.
“The only reason I can’t talk about it is because we’re dealing with legal stuff. You know I’m trying to get paid and not trying to give out no information,” Brown said in an interview referring to the Drake incident. “We don’t talk about other guys. We just focus on the music. [Was it more of us hitting one another?] Nah. It’s none of that. I’m more reserved and I box, so it would have been none of that. You know exactly what that means. In her new GQ cover feature, R&B diva Rihanna addressed the Brown/Drake feud.
Just when we thought Rihanna couldn’t get any more sexy, the sultry siren once again ups the ante, baring it all on the cover of GQ’s December “Men of the Year (And One Hot Woman)” issue. Inside the mag, it’s pretty much the same. Rih Rih reveals plenty to writer Jay Bulger, but knows just when to cover up. “There’s no proof of that being for my love,” she says when questioned about the bottle-bashing brawl between Chris Brown and Drake’s camps inside a New York nightclub back in June. Back in June, the R&B diva immediately got connected to the New York City club brawl.
It looks like last night’s wild fight between Chris Brown and Drake was, in fact, about the former’s ex and the latter’s rumored hookup, Rihanna. Imagine that. Sources also indicate that while Drake’s telling the truth when he says he wasn’t involved physically in the epic melee that ensued, he definitely stirred the pot. Drake gave Brown the middle finger, engaged in some serious trash talk, and recruited several other rappers to join his posse before the brawl, witnesses say. (The Hollywood Gossip)
Despite various club goers accounts, Drizzy’s camp denied he had anything to do with the incident.
Drake is adamant … he is not responsible for the bloody gash on Chris Brown’s face … claiming he was simply leaving the nightclub when the brawl broke out … but sources tell us, the fight started after Chris Brown and a rapper at Drake’s table started trash talking each other. The rapper hanging with Drake — Meek Mill — was screaming at Chris and Chris was giving it right back to Meek Mill. One of Chris’ lieutenants was also involved in the screaming match. One source says Chris was hurt when Meek Mill hit him with a bottle. A rep for Drake tells TMZ … “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.” The rep adds, “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.” (TMZ)
