Chris Breezy hopped onto his Twitter page to address the matter and inform the world he will not take down the paintings.

“Keep em inside then! It’s art. There are scarier creatures on Harry potter. Get a f*cking life!,” he tweeted May 12th.

Over the weekend, reports claimed neighbors complained about the paintings being so disturbing that the city demanded Brown remove it within a month.

Chris Brown’s neighbors are unhappy with the creepy art he’s chosen to have painted along a wall of his Hollywood Hills home. A neighborhood group says the R&B singer — notorious for battering and bruising the face of girlfriend Rihanna — is scaring kids with the red-eyed goblins he had painted along a retaining wall. The city has ordered him to remove it within 30 days. (New York Post)

Local representatives have stepped forward to speak out on Chris Breezy’s art.

President of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association, Patti Negri told the LA Times: “There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall – big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to. “I know a $300 fine is probably pocket change. But hopefully and maybe, he’ll just see the light and decide to be a good neighbor.” (Gigwise)

Brown’s attorney has already defended the singer and painted him as the real victim.

Brown has reportedly been given 30 days to remove the graffiti, but his lawyer Mark Geragos believes his client is being picked on. Geragos said: “They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment. I’m scared of neighborhood busybodies like this. “They’ve called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them.” (Gigwise)

Regardless of the content, murals are reportedly off-limits when placed on private private in his city.

Under city ordinances, it’s illegal to create murals on most private properties. Though that didn’t stop Madonna from painting her Hollywood Hills home in red and yellow stripes in the 1990s. Brown has been ordered to remove the goblin paintings within 30 days, but his attorney Mark Geragos said the musician is not backing down. (Edge On The Net)
