Chris Brown Puts His Anger Behind Him, Starts New Path

R&B singer Chris Brown has reportedly completed his 90-day stint in rehabilitation after being ordered by a judge late last year.

According to reports, Chris Breezy has already started focusing on his music career following the three-month stint.

Chris Brown finally threw something that didn’t get him in trouble … his cap, because he’s graduated from an exclusive anger management rehab school in Malibu … and he’s back to making music. Brown was at Universal City Walk shooting a music video over the weekend. Chris has completed his 90 days of live-in rehab, after the judge in the Rihanna beating case ordered him to attend … or else. You’ll recall … Chris entered a rehab facility on his own, shortly after getting arrested for assaulting a dude in D.C., but he was booted out after going into a rage and throwing a rock through his mom’s car window. Last year, a judge decided to keep Brown from behind bars in a probation case.

Chris Brown’s probation has been formally revoked by a judge in a Los Angeles courtroom on Monday afternoon, but he won’t be going to jail, is reporting. Judge James Brandlin decided not to send the Grammy Award-winning singer to jail for violating terms of his probation for his felony conviction of beating former girlfriend, Rihanna, and decided to allow him to remain in treatment for anger management issues. Brown was expected to come back to court in February for a checkup.

Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin cited details contained in an arrest report as his reason for revoking Brown’s probation for the second time this year. He ordered Brown to return to court Feb. 10 to update him on his progress in rehab. Prosecutors did not request that Brown be sent to jail during Monday’s hearing. (ABC News)

In November, reports surfaced and claimed Breezy lost his cool after being told he could not possess doctor-prescribed marijuana during a rehab stint.

Chris Brown surrendered his phone and the Internet while in rehab for anger management, TMZ has learned — but he didn’t give up his weed without a fight. When Chris enrolled in his court-ordered rehab joint after last week’s progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case … he asked the rehab staff if he could bring his weed along. Chris told staff the Mary Jane was prescribed by a doctor for a medical condition — depression — but the staff rejected his request. We’re told Chris kicked up a stink, claiming pot makes him calm, but the staff was unbending. As we reported, the judge in the case ordered Brown to enroll in a live-in anger management facility for 90 days following his previous stint in anger rehab, when he was booted after just two weeks … ironically because he flew into a violent rage. Details of Chris Breezy’s 90-day rehab sentence sprouted online in mid-November following a court appearance.

A judge ordered Chris Brown on Wednesday to spend three months in rehab after reading a report that said a facility discharged the R&B singer because he threw a rock through his mother’s car window. Superior Court Judge James Brandlin also added additional rules for Brown in the coming months, requiring him to perform at least 24 hours of community labor a week and to submit to drug testing as he deals with anger management issues. Brown and his attorney agreed to the terms, which were suggested by probation officials who are overseeing Brown’s sentence for his 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna. (USA Today)
