R&B singer Chris Brown is reportedly working away at his anger issues in a rehab facility but worked up a storm after being forced to give up his marijuana stash.
According to reports, Breezy lost his cool after being told he could not possess doctor-prescribed marijuana during the treatment period.
Chris Brown surrendered his phone and the Internet while in rehab for anger management, TMZ has learned — but he didn’t give up his weed without a fight. When Chris enrolled in his court-ordered rehab joint after last week’s progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case … he asked the rehab staff if he could bring his weed along. Chris told staff the Mary Jane was prescribed by a doctor for a medical condition — depression — but the staff rejected his request. We’re told Chris kicked up a stink, claiming pot makes him calm, but the staff was unbending. As we reported, the judge in the case ordered Brown to enroll in a live-in anger management facility for 90 days following his previous stint in anger rehab, when he was booted after just two weeks … ironically because he flew into a violent rage. Last December, Brown publicly apologized after posting a photo of himself smoking three marijuana blunts onto Instagram.

Details of Chris Breezy’s 90-day rehab sentence sprouted online last Wednesday (November 20) following a court appearance.
A judge ordered Chris Brown on Wednesday to spend three months in rehab after reading a report that said a facility discharged the R&B singer because he threw a rock through his mother’s car window. Superior Court Judge James Brandlin also added additional rules for Brown in the coming months, requiring him to perform at least 24 hours of community labor a week and to submit to drug testing as he deals with anger management issues. Brown and his attorney agreed to the terms, which were suggested by probation officials who are overseeing Brown’s sentence for his 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna. (USA Today)
Reports also claimed Brown underwent a period of depression before beginning a short rehab stint.
We just got hold of the probation report in the Rihanna case, which outlines what happened during his 13 days in a Malibu rehab joint for anger management counseling. According to the report, Chris’ mom showed up for a family session and was urging her son to stay in the facility for extended treatment. Apparently, Chris violently disagreed with her and in a fit of anger threw a rock through her car window, shattering it. The report goes on to say without continued therapy and a strong recovery support network, Probation says his prognosis is “very guarded.” And here’s an interesting detail from the report: before Chris entered rehab on October 29th, he says he had issues with Attention Deficit Disorder and also underwent a period of depression.
