If all goes accordingly, Brown’s latest solo effort will arrive on store shelves in mid-November.

Chris Brown has finally given his upcoming “X” album a release date. The “Fine China” singer has just taken to his Twitter page to reveal that the highly-anticipated new record is now set to arrive on November 19. “X”, which serves as the follow-up to Brown’s 2012 release “Fortune”, was originally scheduled to be released over the summer. In a recent interview, Brown explained that by pushing back the release date, “[he’d] have a chance to put out more music and people would get a chance to hear more of the stuff that’s gonna be on the album.” (Ace Showbiz)

He previously talked about what fans could expect from the LP’s release.

“I tried to stay away from the Euro beats, and not go totally pop. Instead, I wanted to take the Quincy Jones approach. The record pays homage to the Stevie Wonders, the Michael Jacksons, the Sam Cookes. I wanted to put that classic essence of R&B and soul with the new age of music now.” (Rolling Stone)

Back in August, Chris Breezy hopped onto his Twitter page to dish on people still judging him from a past mistake and revealed possible retirement plans.

“Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.,” he tweeted August 6.

“Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!” (Chris Brown’s Twitter)

Brown became public enemy number one back in February 2009 after he attacked ex-girlfriend Rihanna during Grammy weekend.

The “mistake” mentioned in that tweet is, presumably, his arrest for domestic assault after attacking then-girlfriend Rihanna the night before the Grammy Awards in 2009. (It should be noted, of course, that Brown was actually 19 when that incident occurred, but math is hard. (Entertainment Weekly)
