R&B singer Chris Brown and NBA superstar Blake Griffin brought some laughs to ESPN’s “ESPY’s Awards” last night (July 16) after being involved in a must-see skit with show host Drake. #espys
In the skit, Breezy and Griffin play Drake’s on-screen enemies at the awards show.
The stars, whose posses came to blows in 2012 in an NYC nightclub, referred to the incident in the clip. Blake Griffin joined the fun, too — first battling it out with the 2014 ESPYS host over whether their segment should be called “Blake and Drake” or “Drake and Blake.” In the skit, the two somehow end up in a dentist’s office, with NBA player Griffin, 25, hovering over his rival, in the style of Steve Martin‘s memorable scene from 1986 movie, Little Shop of Horrors. The horrified “Started From the Bottom” rapper asks Griffin, “Are you really going to do this?” Suddenly, Brown — holding surgical tools — appears and says, “No. I am!” (Us Magazine)
Recent reports claimed Drizzy would appear on Chris Breezy’s upcoming solo album.
They’re now in the studio … laying tracks down for Chris’ new album. We’re told Drake will perform with Chris on some of the songs and he’ll also be the producer. Two other reasons Chris and Drake think working together will sell more albums: — People will pick the lyrics apart, trying to figure out if they are talking about Rihanna … the woman who they both slept with and the catalyst for the W.i.P. brawl. — Everyone wants to hear who sounds better — Chris or Drake. A new photo of Drizzy and Breezy in a recording studio surfaced online last Friday (July 11).
A Drake stan Instagram page posted a photo of the OVO/YMCMB rapper and his former bottle-brawlin’ nemesis, Chris Brown, in the studio together early this morning. In the photo, it appears that Chris is singing while Drake holds a double-cup and listens intently. No word on whether or not the two frenemies worked on any music together or if this was just a bonding session to build some good vibrations. (Bossip)
Last October, a photo of Drizzy and Brown hanging out in a studio hit the ‘net.
“Hanging with Drake in the studio,” the 24-year-old pop star posted early Thursday, seemingly hinting at a collaboration between the “Started From The Bottom” rapper and the “Run It” singer. (E! Online)
