Chris Brown Downs The Truth, Addresses BET Awards Fallout?

R&B singer Chris Brown has reportedly come forward to address footage of himself being carried out by friends following a BET Awards after party last weekend. #DrankUp

Despite the messy clip, CB said peer pressure to enjoy some alcoholic beverages pushed him over the edge.

We posted the video first thing Monday morning … showing an absolutely obliterated CB being carried out of Playhouse in Hollywood. Chris is saying … he hadn’t had a drink in 6 months — mostly because he was either in rehab or jail. Chris says he was goaded at Playhouse into drinking … by famous folk like Lil Wayne, Tyga and Soulja Boy. They wanted him to celebrate his triumphant return on the BET stage by doing shots. Chris admits to having the proverbial “several” shots, but that was all she wrote. (TMZ)

Footage of Brown being assisted by friends surfaced online yesterday (June 30).

After performing live on stage for the first time since being released from jail earlier this month, Breezy partied it up at one of many 2014 BET Awards after parties at Hollywood nightclub Playhouse … and got so drunk that he had to be carried out by two of his friends. Chris’ girlfriend Karrueche Tran (who we have to say is one of the most ride or die chicks ever) was waiting outside of the club for him in an orange lambo and made sure he made it home safely. BET Awards host Chris Rock took a playful jab at Breezy prior to his Sunday (June 29) performance.

Shortly before his performance, however, comedian Chris Rock dissed the R&B singer. “He just signed a new deal,” Rock said as he introduced the singer. “Too bad it was a plea deal. Give it up for Chris Brown.” (Digital Digest News)

Brown stole the show with his “Loyal” performance at the annual event.

Lil Wayne started off “Loyal” and set the tempo off right. And then we saw Chris in the background. Chris began to dance and he looked so hot in a long plaid shirt and jeans. “Loyal,” with the help of Lil Wayne and Tyga, was the perfect song for Chris to perform. The performance allowed Chris to show just how good of a dancer he is. (Seriously, Chris is a dance god.) (Hollywood Life)
