The latest gossip stems from his alleged use of the term “no h*mo” when approached by the paps.

While leaving Gotha nightclub in Cannes, Chris Brown had some choice words for a paparazzi who asked him about R&B Crooner Frank Ocean. While entering his vehicle Chris was asked about Frank Ocean, to which Brown responded “Man, no homo!”. The phrase “no homo” has been immortalized in hip hop culture meaning a rejection of anything that could be deemed as homosexual. Ocean recently informed his fans that he was gay which has since shook the Hip Hop community making Ocean and polarized figure. (PR Log)

Chris Breezy has reportedly had past instances of anti-gay moments.

This is not the first time that Chris Brown has been reported making homophobic remarks. Last June, after accusing a group of paparazzi of alerting police that his car was illegally parked, he supposedly said, “Y’all n****s is weak. Did you all call them to try and film me? Y’all n****s is gay.” It should also be noted that Chris Brown and Frank Ocean had an unfriendly exchange on Twitter last year, which was followed by an unpleasant filmed interaction between Frank Ocean and Chris Brown’s cousins. In summer 2011, Brown and Ocean had a brief publicized dispute.

Last summer Brown denied making homophobic comments at a Las Vegas nightclub. The new report also reveals that Brown and Ocean have had run-ins in the past. The two men previously exchanged heated Twitter messages and Logo blog NewNowNext posted video of Brown sending relatives to chase Ocean’s car in June 2011. (Advocate)

Last week, the Odd Future affiliate revealed the truth behind releasing his open letter on Indepedence Day.

He said that his open letter was written in December 2011 with a view to include it in the album sleeve notes in order to pre-empt speculation that might arise from some of its songs addressing men. “I knew that I was writing in a way that people would ask questions,” he said. “I knew that my star was rising, and I knew that if I waited I would always have somebody that I respected be able to encourage me to wait longer, to not say it till who knows when.” The Odd Future member also downplayed the risk in his coming out. “People are just afraid of things too much … Sure, evil exists, extremism exists. Somebody could commit a hate crime and hurt me. But they could do the same just because I’m black. They could do the same just because I’m American.” (Guardian)
