According to reports, Chris Breezy may have lied about how much service he actually completed last year.

We’ve learned the D.A. is alleging in legal docs Chris Brown may have LIED when he claimed he had performed all of his community service in connection with the Rihanna beating case. Bryan T. Norwood, the Chief of Police in Richmond, VA., wrote a letter to the judge on September 14, claiming Brown successfully completed 202 days of community service — he was only required to perform 180. Norwood attached documents showing that Brown frequently worked at Tappahannock Children’s Center — a place where Brown’s mom was once a director — and did odd jobs such as painting, washing windows, waxing floors, cutting grass and picking up trash. Despite support from the Chief of Police in Brown’s hometown, the D.A. claims something fishy still went down.

The D.A. claims Chris and the prior Chief of Police had a prior relationship. The judge was suspicious when the document was filed, and sources tell us the D.A. began investigating and found no “credible, competent or verifiable evidence” that Brown did the 180 days community service. Sources tell TMZ … there’s no way Chris could have performed community service on some of the days, because he was out of the country doing concerts. The D.A. calls Chris’ documentation “at best sloppy … and at worst fraudulent reporting.” The D.A. is asking the judge to reject Chris’ alleged Virginia community service hours and make him fulfill his obligation in L.A. County. (TMZ)

Last September, details of the singer’s community service volunteering duties surfaced.

In recent months, the logs show Brown has essentially been working three jobs – performing cleanup duty in Richmond police precincts by day, janitorial chores at the daycare 45 miles away by night, and hit songs for global audiences in between. Ida Minter, administrator of the Tappahannock Children’s Center, said Brown attended the nonprofit facility “off and on” for more than 12 years and his mother was employed there for 24 years, including as director. Despite the documented hours, issues arose by a Los Angeles judge and prosecutor last fall.

After Chris Brown pleaded guilty to beating then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, a judge ordered the R&B singer to do six-months’ worth of what was described as “community labor.” The singer was allowed to perform the service in his home state of Virginia under the supervision of Richmond’s police chief, who this week submitted documents to a Los Angeles judge indicating that Brown had finished his service. Not so fast, say a judge and prosecutor, who have ordered more documentation be produced to prove that Brown worked the more than 1,400 hours he claims to have performed. A third of the hours were recorded at the Tappahannock daycare center, where Brown spent time as a child and where his mother once served as director. (Huffington Post)
