R&B singer Chris Brown has cleared the air on recently making comments about men having to take hold of a woman's goods and suggesting he owns Rihanna's private area during a concert.

According to Chris Breezy, his words were not meant to be taken literally and said he was simply reciting lyrics to a song.

Chris Brown is backing off last week’s proclamation that he is sole and rightful owner of Rihanna’s lady parts … telling TMZ, “It’s a song … it’s a song … that’s all it is.” Brown was leaving Lure nightclub in L.A. this weekend when we brought up the statement he made at the Emerson Theater last week … when he gave the crowd a quick lesson about how to talk to women. “You GOTTA say that one thing to her,” Brown said … “Don’t make me have to tell you again, that’s my p***y baby! … so you better not give it away!” (TMZ)

Recently, Brown spoke his February 2009 attack on RiRi and said the R&B diva had forgiven him.

Exhibit A: R&B star Chris Brown says he’s worked hard and persuaded pop-star Rihanna to forgive him and love him again, even though he beat her up in 2009 and may still be on the hook for charges in the case. London’s The Mirror tabloid is reporting today that he granted a “searingly honest” interview to a Mirror scribe in which he apologized, again, held up the assault as the “biggest mistake” of his life, and acknowledged that winning Rihanna back took months of “serious making up.” “But she loves me — what can I say? I’m forgiven … but, yes, I worked hard for it,” he told reporter Clemmie Moodie on Sunday at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar-watching party. (USA Today)

Finally back together, Rihanna said Brown no longer has the luxury of messing up twice and getting away with it earlier this year.

“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world,” Rihanna says. “You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about sh*t. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.” And Rihanna says that if Brown were ever to display a hint of his past behavior towards her, she is ready to walk. “He doesn’t have the luxury of f*cking up again,” she says. “That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.” (Rolling Stone)

A few days ago, Brooklyn rapper Fabolous came to Breezy’s defense and pointed out even RiRi had taken him back in.

“I can’t wager my friendship on a public or media persona of him,” Fabolous told us at Barbounia during a lunch for Respect magazine. “Those people who have bad reputations, of course you wouldn’t want to be around. But I don’t believe he’s a bad person. I believe, even if you’re looking at the situation with Rihanna, things happen and you move on.” Adding, “Whatever happened in the past is the past . . . even Rihanna’s moved on. The public has perceptions of people off of what they see, not what they know.” Brown is featured on “Really” on Fabolous’ new album “Loso’s Way II.” (New York Post)
