Despite ample accusations, a Los Angeles judge killed the case this week in court.

Chris Brown’s hit-and-run case was just dismissed, even though prosecutors argued Chris deserved to be punished and punished severely for his alleged vehicular misdeed. Chris and the victim struck a civil compromise — she didn’t want any money because the damage was so minor and she wanted the case dismissed. But the L.A. City Attorney objected, arguing to the judge this morning that Brown was very aggressive toward the victim after the accident — calling her a “b*tch.” The judge, however, didn’t buy the City Attorney’s argument and dismissed the case. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos tells TMZ, “The case never should have been filed in the first place. It’s unfortunate he was being prosecuted for who he is rather than what he’s done.” (TMZ)

Last month, Brown caught a break after having some charges against him dropped in the case.

Brown’s lawyer entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and a judge ordered him to show up at a sheriff’s station within a week to be officially booked on the charge, according to a court spokesman. The prosecutor dismissed charges of driving without a license and driving without proof of insurance during a hearing Tuesday in a Van Nuys, California, court. A Brown representative said last week that the singer expected all of the charges to be dropped and probation reinstated this week. (CNN)

A week prior, Brown hopped onto his Twitter page to stand behind his past claims of doing nothing wrong in the May incident.

“Pray!,” Chris tweeted July 15.

“I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C’mon!!”

“Love you Team Breezy. I hope people can actually see the truth.”

“My cross is heavy but God gives me the strength to carry it.” (Chris Brown’s Twitter)

The mega R&B star also had his probation revoked last month.

A judge revoked Chris Brown’s probation on Monday after reviewing the details of hit-and-run charges the singer is facing. However, the singer was not ordered to jail. Brown, who came to court with a group of family members, appeared downcast as he sat with his arms across his chest and his head down on the counsel table while his lawyer and a prosecutor went to the judge’s chambers to discuss the case.
