Brown has named the upcoming fourth solo project F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies)

“I’m putting out singles a lot right now, so everything’s coming together. But I definitely am gonna to say this and plug it quick: The name of my album is Fame so make sure you check it out,” Brown said when he recently played radio host on 102.3 The Beat in Austin, Texas. According to some reports, the title references a “Fame” tattoo a “Fame” tattoo the singer sports on his arm. The singer also urged fans to look out for the singles “Yeah 3X,” a high-energy track infused with chirpy techno rhythms, and “Calypso” which hetweeted about in early September. “I’m trying to get everything together, figure out what I’m [going to] do with the album,” he explained. As of late, Brown has been clocking in studio time with singer/songwriter Kevin McCall.

Brown has been hard at work in the studio, collaborating with singer-songwriter Kevin McCall, who penned his hit single “Deuces” as well as forthcoming album cuts “Rest of My Life” and the country-tinged “Another You.” “I write and collab with Chris. Awesome writer. Vibe off his energy a lot. We got a lot of records to get out,” McCall told Rap-Up TV, noting that he also penned a slow jam with Chris and Tank for Keri Hilson’s sophomore project No Boys Allowed. (Rap-Up)

Yet to crack over 500,000 albums sold, Brown’s previous album debuted in the Top 10 releases last December.

R&B singer Chris Brown made his comeback this week as Graffitidebuted at No. 7, falling behind Susan Boyle‘s I Dreamed a Dream which moved 582,000 records this week. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Breezy’s third solo album has sold 101,900 copies after seven days in stores. (SOHH Sales Wrap)

Prior to his sales being announced, Brown accused retailers of intentionally not stocking his LP in light of his publicized domestic dispute with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

“JUST WAS AT WALMART IN wallingford CT,844 north colony.. the didnt even have my album in the back… not on shelves, saw for myself,” he wrote Saturday (December 12) night. “we talked to the managers and the didnt even know anything. wow!!! but they had alicia keys album ready for release for this tuesday comin. the manager told me that when there are new releases its mandatory to put em on the shelves.. BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS no disprespect to alicia at all.. just givin an example to whos album is loaded and ready to go next week.” (Chris Brown’s Twitter)

A release date has not yet been announced.
