R&B singer Chris Brown has stepped forward to let loose on his relationship with current girlfriend Karrueche Tran and explain why he had a short-lived reunion with ex-lover Rihanna following his now-infamous 2009 attack on her.
When asked about Karrueche, Brown said he has managed to enjoy friendship and intimacy with Tran.
“She’s straight, man. I dig her. She’s dope. Being in this industry, you just need somebody that understands you and understands who you are personally from your name. At the end of the day, me and her have a real connection as best friends on top of our intimacy.” (Hot 97)

Breezy also spoke on briefly hooking back up with RiRi following their famous ’09 breakup.
“Obviously I have remorse about it and it’s something that’s really serious. But as far as the situation, me and her, we made amends. We good. She my friend. I knew that was a mistake that I will never make again, but I take in consideration like, ‘Dang. I was 17, 18.’ I’m 25 now, so I look back at it like, ‘Dang.’ And I’m still doing community service and going to see the judge every month and a half,” Brown added. “I just wanted to make sure that [friendship] was still there. I wanted to make amends to her.” (Hot 97)
Despite the never-ending rumor mills, Chris Breezy recently admitted he did not stress out over Karrueche gossip.
“[When] you read [things in] the media, you’ll see ‘this happened’ and ‘that happened,’ but I just let them talk,” he told MTV News. “Because, at the end of the day, that’s what their job is.” The X singer added that two years ago, he would’ve reacted differently, but things have changed. “You’ve gotta mature at some point and not give them that attention…when it comes to all the extra hoopla, that just gets lost in translation with me.” (MTV)

Chris posted a photo of KT and playfully suggested they should have a child on Instagram in August.
