Rather than fully address the situation, Keef killed rumors about possibly sustaining gunshot wounds.

“Who lied and said I got shot! ????????? Stop It Girrrrrrrlllll. This girl goes out to u boys too!,” Keef tweeted March 27.

“Sorry y’all I know y’all Love em But y’all gone hate me when I’m done! On Odee Patoon Sheriod Whitey Keta! Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” (Chief Keef’s Twitter)

Details of a shooting from his manager’s home surfaced online yesterday.

The house where a shooting took place in Northfield early today is rented by the manager of troubled rapper Chief Keef, said Viktor Mehta, who manages the property for the owner. It’s unclear if the rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was present at the time of the shooting or otherwise involved. Northfield police said this afternoon that the shooting remains under investigation, and asked anyone with information to contact the department at 847-441-3842. No one has been arrested, a police spokeswoman said, but police said the shooting “appears to be isolated and we believe the community is safe.” (Chicago Tribune)

Reports claimed the teenage rap star may have been present at the shooting.

The “I Don’t Like” spitter was reportedly present during a shooting in a home on Happ Road in Northfield, Illinois that landed someone in the hospital on Wednesday morning (March 26). Keef’s lawyer confirmed with TMZ.com that he was present during the shooting, but maintains CK wasn’t the shooter. The rapper was taken into police custody however according to a report on Complex.com. (MTV)

Prior to posting up $300 for bail, Chief spent some time in handcuffs in early March.

When officers approached the vehicle, we’re told it reeked of pot and, according to our sources, Keef openly admitted to smoking before driving. We’re told police administered a field sobriety test and Keef choked. He was placed under arrest at the scene. In addition to DUI, Keef was also charged with driving on a suspended license and cited for having no proof of insurance. (TMZ)
