New in-studio footage of Keef and Master P hit the Internet this week.

Recently Master P hit the studio with up and coming trap stars Chief Keef and Fat Trel. In the clip, the trio can be seen working on some new music for P’s upcoming project. Master P plans to release his new mixtape Al Capone, followed by his album Boss Of All Bosses. (Complex)

Last week, the Chicago rapper hooked up with 50 Cent.

“I did a new joint to night with @chiefkeef he got some heat.,” Fif tweeted. (50 Cent’s Twitter)

In September, 50 revealed how close Keef came to nearly getting dropped by Interscope Records.

“There was some energy there in the [Interscope] building, they was actually thinking about dropping him,” 50 said in an interview. “I was like, ‘D*mn you can’t just like drop him.’ That’s what hip-hop culture is. It’s an opportunity for you to make it from anywhere. If you from the bottom right now you could listen to this music that comes on, write something and put them cards back they gave you and deal yourself some new ones.” (Hot 97)

This all comes in light of Chicago prosecutors wanting Keef back behind bars for a possible probation violation.

With the 17-year-old rapper listening, Cook County prosecutors outlined why they think the Interscope Records artist should be returned to juvenile detention. The rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, is serving 18 months of probation for pointing a gun at a Chicago cop. He was also found delinquent on two other felonies. Prosecutors argued he violated the probation by having a gun in a video posted online. They pointed to a recorded media interview the rapper did in June at a gun range in New York, where he can be seen with a gun. That’s a probation violation, prosecutors argued, because his probation bans him from having any guns or illegal drugs or associating with gang members. (Sun Times)
