Chief Keef A Wanted Man In Chicago, Cops Ordered To Arrest Teen Rapper

Chicago rapper Chief Keef may want to look out for police while going out to grab something to eat as reports claim law enforcement officials have been ordered to toss him behind bars.

According to reports, Keef’s decision to skip a recent child support hearing has Chicago police after him.

Police in Chicago have been instructed to throw Chief Keef in jail for skipping his child support hearing last week. The 17-year-old was ordered to appear in court on September 5 to explain why he hasn’t paid the mother of his child over $20,000 in child support. When the young rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, failed to show up, the judge issued a warrant for his arrest. If he is found by police, they can take him straight to jail and hold him until he pays roughly 1/5 of the child support payment. (Inquisitr)

Coincidentally, Keef referenced heading to court Thursday (September 12) afternoon.

In July, reports surfaced which claimed the 17-year-old rapper’s baby’s mother had sought out legal action against him for not being paid child support.

As we reported, Keef allegedly fathered the child when he was just 15 and the mother was still in middle school … and he was subsequently ordered to pay $2,600 per month in child support (plus $500 for daycare) based on his income of $13,000 per month. But the mother has now filed legal docs, claiming Keef hasn’t been paying his child support bills. (TMZ)

Dangers of an arrest warrant being issued for Keef if he did not make the scheduled September court appearance was also public knowledge over the summer.

The girl says Keef was supposed to start paying up in May, but so far he’s only paid $1,900 … meaning he’s already way behind … which is mindblowing if it’s true because Keef regularly carries THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN CASH. Like that time he was arrested with $8,000 in his pocket, or that time he left LAX with stacks of stacks. The girl claims she can’t afford to support herself without Keef’s money and he needs to pay up stat.A judge has since ordered the rapper to appear in court in September to explain why he hasn’t paid. If he doesn’t show up, an arrest warrant could be issued. Calls to Keef’s camp weren’t returned. (TMZ)
