Late night talk show host Chelsea Handler has finally broken her silence on being spotted with rap star 50 Cent last weekend in New Orleans.
Hitting up Twitter, Handler said their date was strictly business-related.
“Everyone, calm down. I met with mr. Cent about a potential project. There’s nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is.,” Handler tweeted Wednesday (October 6). (Chelsea Handler’s Twitter)

The unexpected pair were photographed looking romantic at a New Orleans bar on Sunday. “It’s been going on awhile,” the source says of the comedienne and the rapper, both 35. “It’s more of a hookup thing — whenever they are in the same town.” 50 Cent’s rep had no comment. This week, a source from Handler’s camp said she is not dating 50, however, would not turn down an opportunity.
