Troubled actor Charlie Sheen left fans dissatisfied last night (April 2) after opening his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option” tour in Detroit.

The crowd reportedly grew angry with Sheen’s opening act which included massive booing.

The circus – we mean show — started at 8:10 pm EST, only 10 minutes late. But the hapless warm-up comic who was the opening act, could barely be heard over the crowd screaming for “Charlie.” The booing got so bad, Sheen himself came out and asked the audience to give his pal a chance to show his stuff. The audience was in no mood and went back to booing as soon as Sheen exited stage left. By 8:30, the painfully-bad opening act was put out of his misery, and the house lights went back on as if the show had never started! Almost an hour in, and a series of totally random film clips are shown on giant monitors. It was after 9 pm before Charlie actually started the show, anointing his audience at the “Warlock States of Sheen.” (Radar Online)

Despite his media craze over the past few weeks, Sheen was unable to satisfy his audience.

Sheen, visibly worried that he was losing the audience, at times appeared close to becoming abrasive. He never completely fell apart, but at one point, he did tell a heckler, “Sorry dude, already got your money.” Near the end of the evening, with the booing intensifying, the 45-year-old Sheen slipped off stage in favor rapper Dirt Nasty. And then at about 10:10 p.m. — roughly 70 minutes after Sheen’s portion had started — the houselights came on and most of the disappointed crowd headed for the exits, shell-shocked or angry. For those who hung around, his “true, die-hard” fans, Sheen returned to the stage for about 15 minutes for meet-and-greets and the like. (Detroit Free Press)

Following the show, Slaughterhouse’s Royce Da 5’9 tweeted about his hometown’s disapproval of Sheen.

“Did Charlie Sheen really get boo’ed off stage in Detroit? Smh #Winning…,” Royce tweeted Sunday (April 3). (Royce Da 5’9’s Twitter)

While Sheen’s antics have created humor for some, rappers like Raekwon have publicly revealed their disinterest in the actor’s actions as of late.

“Charlie Sheen is a rich d*ck, man,” Raekwon said in an interview. “He’s running around doing all this sh*t, and you know, he’s got kids involved. I don’t have anything against him. I just think when you handle yourself like that, when you’re so much of a powerful man, it ain’t cool. When you’re at a certain part of your life when you have children involved, and they gotta go to school and deal with that sh*t — come on, man….Wisen up man, straighten up man. You’re getting $2 million an episode, B — what the f*ck?!” (The Juice)
