Cham’s list ranged from the late Tupac Shakur to OutKast’s Andre 3000.

“The usual suspects. Pac. Jay-Z. Eminem. Andre 3000. I gotta count UGK as one person. That would probably be my list. Scarface, Nas & [Lil Wayne] would probably come somewhere next on that list. I know this always debated and people always argue over this stuff but the people I pick are all OG’s in the game and are legends to me. I feel like you can’t be considered the greatest of all time if you haven’t spent a lot of time being on top of the rap game.” (Hip Hop N More)

Although appreciative toward the late Notorious B.I.G., Cham explained his absence from the list.

“I like Biggie also and his lyrical ability and wordplay was always ill to me. The only reason I wouldn’t rank him as high is because the subject matter of a lot of his music was kinda dark for me at the time. Death and murder always seemed to be a prominent topic when I would listen to his songs but I could never deny that he was one of the greatest. Unfortunately he didn’t get to live long enough to complete his musical catalog.” (Hip Hop N More)

Former Little Brother member Big Pooh recently told SOHH OutKast ranked in his Top 5 list.

“Outkast is in there at the end. Andre 3000 is one of those rappers that’s so intelligent. He’s so intelligent but it doesn’t go too much over your head. He knows how to make it and put the slick sh*t in there and make it so subtle-like. He knows how to use his country dialect to really let the words line up. It’s brilliant. He’s one of those guys who I know doesn’t want to admit how brilliant he is but he’s just one of those dudes I could listen to all day long. A lot of people get caught up listening to Andre and forget how Big Boi be spitting. He’s a pattern guy. Not only does he spit but then he puts those words in ill patterns. If you go back and listen to some of his old sh*t, he really goes in to it.” (Top 5 Dead Or Alive)

Slaughterhouse’s Joe Budden also recently revealed to SOHH Andre’s 3000’s placement in his own list.

“I think Andre 3000’s creative mind is unparalleled. He’s one of the most lyrical guys to ever pick up a microphone. What else can I say? He’s one of hip-hop’s pioneers.” (Top 5 Dead Or Alive)
