While details are still gathering, Ocho is willing to succumb to the divorce.

Chad Johnson has plead not guilty to a battery charge in the alleged domestic violence incident with his wife Evelyn Lozada, but the former Miami Dolphins player has also finally granted her a divorce. Lozada was quick to present Johnson with papers following their clash, but he has been resistant until now. The divorce isn’t final yet, but he has reportedly agreed to break their bond, while pushing to keep the terms of their pre-nup valid. Earlier in the week, reports emerged which claimed Chad would not sign the papers.

Chad Johnson has no plans of letting go his estranged wife Evelyn Lozada anytime soon. Sources close to the couple told entertainment site TMZ that the former NFL star is refusing to sign the divorce papers for Lozada because he is still attempting to win her back. The news about Johnson’s refusal to sign the divorce documents comes just after he tattooed Lozada’s face on his right leg. (Fox News)

The free agent football player pleaded his innocence after getting hit with a battery charge this week.

Johnson was not at the hearing this morning, as his plea was entered in by his attorney, Adam Swickle. “We continue to work diligently on the case with the state attorney’s office, and we have been exchanging all evidence in the case,” Swickle told E! News. Swickle added that Johnson is “doing well, considering the circumstance,” and noted that “he always lands back on his feet.” A status conference has been scheduled for Oct. 31. (E! Online)

Recently, he made headlines by tattooing Lozada’s face onto his leg.

Dumped Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson can’t seem to let go of his estranged wife — and proved it by tattooing her face on his right leg. Johnson, formerly known as Chad Ochocinco, showed off his latest ink featuring Evelyn Lozada and the name “Eve” scrawled below it. Lozada, 36, filed for divorce last month — three days after she told police that Johnson allegedly became violent when she confronted him about a receipt for condoms. (New York Daily News)
