On the record, Cass continues where his recent “R.A.I.D.” diss ended with an onslaught of jabs.

“My tongue like a gun, it’s time to let a slugs spray /I been made RAID, but I ain’t running out of bug spray /He been a f*ggot, that n*gga always was gay /See he a man b*tch, twerking on a man d*ck /Y’all, he grab balls, no d*mn nit /But y’all ain’t catch it, I’m infected, I’m too d*mn sick /They gon’ have this verse bumping like a d*mn zit /Cause this like tryna make a poodle fight a d*mn pit /This a dog fight, but every p*ssy make a dog bite /I’m like high beams, you a fog light /You can’t shine, cause your rhymes just alright /I’m off n*gga, soft n*ggas live a hard life /And I don’t never have an off night /I’m always on my J-O, this a second round K-O” (“Catch A Body”)

Cass announced plans to drop a retaliation track called “Catch A Body” Saturday (September 7) night.

“I know n*ggas is in the streets talking right now ’cause this idiot put out another diss record about me but you know I stay in the motherf*cking lab,” Cass said in an interview. “It took a n*gga like eight, nine months to respond, d*mn near a year. He had to sit back, got a bunch of n*ggas around him helping him come up with lines, then he flipping lines he been had said in February and sh*t like that and try to come at me ’cause you know that ‘R.A.I.D.’ sh*t got under his skin. That sh*t f*cked him up emotionally and a n*gga can’t get over that. It’s eating at him every day so he had to come back with something. I wasn’t even thinking about that n*gga, you know what I mean? … Since he dropped that song, I thought it was done. I thought that n*gga was dead already. … The n*gga can’t even rap. But just to show the streets I’m still cooking n*ggas, I put some sh*t together to throw dirt over the hole. It’s doing down tonight, it’s called ‘Catch A Body.’ ‘Cause that’s what I do. I kill n*ggas.” (Much Better Films)

Off his upcoming Dreamchasers 3 mixtape project, Meek’s new five-minute track features him rapping over an assortment of battle instrumentals and targeting Cass.

Meek Mill has released a diss record toward fellow Philadelphia rapper Cassidy called “Kendrick You Next.” The five-minute diss track finds Meek rapping over a number of classic instrumentals and aiming shots at Cassidy, who he’s traded bars with in the past. Over the “Who Shot Ya?” instrumental Meek raps, “Cassidy, boy you’re so trash to me/Do the math, I dissed you, that’s subtracting me/You ain’t poppin’/What the fuck could you add to me?” The title of the record is in reference to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse, where the Compton MC name checks Meek along with a number of other rappers. After releasing his new song “I B On That” yesterday featuring Nicki Minaj, French Montana and Fabolous, Meek Mill went on Twitter and said, “Ima catch Kendrick on da intro I ain’t forget! Lol.” That specific record will be included on Meek’s upcoming mixtape Dreamchasers 3, which will be released September 29. (Complex)

A few weeks ago, Cassidy went at Meek with a response track to Kendrick Lamar‘s “Control” bars.

“Ain’t no rapper tough as me, that’s why they don’t f*ck with me,” Cass continues. “They can label this a diss when the song drop/’Cause I’m better than your favorite rapper by a long shot/You gonna have to bring the song back after the song stop and rewind all the punchlines that this song got/I paint pictures, no Photoshop/I’m not the King of New York but the King of New York know I’m hot/And no I’m not trying to be the king of Philly/But I been holding down my city/Just as Gillie, really/If any of you n*ggas act silly, I’ll be happy to compete/You seen what happen to Meek/I’m not rapping to get back in the booth/I’m just rapping to be competitive” (“Control” Freestyle)
