[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name their Top 5 rappers of all-time. To make things tricky, we've created a "Hall of Fame" of emcees (see right) who are universally respected and therefore may not be mentioned. After Franco Anthony unloaded his top spitters, West Coast rapper Bobby Brackins busts out his fave five.]
Too Short. Short is on there because he’s one of the biggest influences in the game. Coming from Oakland, he really made an influence and made a name for himself. He really inspired myself, showing it could be done.
E-40. He’s just super different and super versatile. There’s no other rapper like him that. His uniqueness is admirable.
Snoop Dogg. It’s the longevity. He’s been able to make a name for himself and be a staple. It’s very respectable.
Cam’ron. I love Cam’ron. I grew up listening to Diplomatic Immunity. I love the whole Dipset movement. Cam’ron is funny and super dope. I just saw Cam’ron perform for the first time in Los Angeles. He’s the man.
Lil Wayne. I’ve got to put Lil Wayne on there.
