As things now stand, Dipset is currently still going through the negotiation process.

“Right now, just [Diplomat] Vado is signed to Interscope [and] right now everybody else is just negotiating but Vado is signed to Interscope,” Cam revealed in an interview. “[The reunion album,] that’s really coming out but we don’t know what label it’s going on. [Interscope] is negotiating, they put something up, [but we’re still talking].” (Trap TV)

After Dipset made headlines for previously recording with Dr. Dre, Juelz Santana said his team had joined the Interscope Records family in February.

“It’s back to live action, it’s back to doing what we do best,” Santana explained in an interview. “We got the deal with Interscope. Shout-out to [Interscope Records CEO] Jimmy Iovine. I’m sure people seen the pictures up of us and [Dr.] Dre, so, you know, we’ve done records with Dre. That was a beautiful experience. Dre had Jim [Jones] in the booth for like an hour and a half…” (Ozone Mag)

This news was followed a month later with Vado inking a solo Interscope deal.

Vado is about to have a new home. The Harlem spitter confirmed to XXLMag.com that he recently inked a deal with the Interscope Records. Details of the deal are still emerging. V-Don’s retail mixtape, Slime Flu hit stores last October, and was released on eOne. His collabo album with Cam’ron, Gunz N’ Butta, is slated to drop next month on April 12 also through eOne. Vado will be appearing on XXL’s UStream show Spotlight next Wednesday, April 6. (XXL Mag)

In late summer, Dipset’s Jim Jones updated fans on the delayed Diplomatic Immunity 3 reunion album.

“Everybody’s been working,” Jones said in an interview. “We took a brief hiatus; we came back together. When we came back together, there were still things that we had to figure out. And everybody’s on the same page, but above all we all still have contractual obligations, so it kinda makes it a little difficult to get what we want to do done because we want to put total efforts and total concentration on the new things…We been recording slowly but surely — Me and Cam been going back and forth. Juelz [Santana] been trying finish his obligation up with Def Jam — he got a lot of pressure on his back.” (MTV)
