Dipset leader Cam’ron has accomplished a lot more than your favorite rappers. The hip-hop veteran has reminded fans what personal goals he’s achieved in the entertainment biz.
Heading into the weekend, Killa Cam went to Instagram with an epic retrospective clip.
“They said I’d never sell a million records. They said I’d never direct my own movies. They said I’d never get my mother out the ghetto. I realize I’m a classic. Yeah. That’s what I am. I’m a classic.”
Last month, Cam’ron went down memory lane with some pre-Dipset footage.
In late March, Dipset’s Jim Jones reflected on his crew’s Diplomatic Immunity album anniversary.
In February, Jimmy shed tears discussing his loyalty to the Dipset brand.
“People don’t understand what this Diplomat sh*t is built about. I be watching the ‘gram and I be watching these clowns – boy, if you really get to live this last 20 years that I lived, you would understand, boy. I put everything on the line for this. And I took it with a smile, even when n*ggas doubted me, n*ggas downed me, when I was on trial and n*ggas told me I needed to take the plea.” (Hot 97)
