ADVERTI2EMENT

Reports this week revealed Drake’s compilation project would arrive in 2017.

It looks like we won’t be getting a new album from Drake before year’s end. Tonight on OVO Sound Radio, after stating that he owes fans an update, Oliver El-Khatib announced that Drizzy’s compilation album More Life will be dropping “at the the top of 2017.” Although 2017 is right around the corner, the news comes as a disappointment to fans who were expecting the album to drop sometime this month. Last month, Drake shut down rumors about his compilation album arriving in early December.

Yesterday, there were rumors that Drake will be releasing the project on December 3rd, which surfaced after social media personality Bizkit mentioned the date in an interview on Power 105. But it looks like the information was inaccurate. A few hours ago, Drizzy left a comment on an Instagram post, saying that the album is definitely coming soon but just not on December 3rd, as reported by various news outlets. (HHNM)

Earlier the same week, reports surfaced about Drake gearing up to pull the trigger on his new project.

In a new interview with EmEz on Power 105.1, Biz lets spill that Drake’s More Life project apparently has a release date of Dec. 3. You can watch him say as much at the 4:25 mark in the above video. “Shout out to Drake, shout out to OVO. More Life December 3rd, it’s going down,” he says. (XXL Mag)
