Bow Wow will be clocking in studio time as he prepares the release of his sixth solo album New Jack City Part II set to drop this winter.
According to Billboard, the rapper/actor will be following up his gold certified disc The Price of Fame with the new album bringing along Soulja Boy and long-time producer Jermaine Dupri.
Led by the current single “Marco Polo,” other confirmed tracks include “Big Girls” and “Sunshine,” which a music video is reportedly being recorded and is set to hit television screens in November.
Helping support the project, Bow Wow will also begin a small tour via his popular nationwide Scream tour known for bringing along R&B sensations like Omarion, Marques Houston and Bobby Valentino.
No tour dates have been announced as of press time.
New Jack City Part II is currently scheduled to drop Tuesday, December 16 on Columbia Records.
In related news, Bow Weezy continues to further his acting career by currently starring in the fifth season of HBO‘s hit series “Entourage.”
He will also be featured in the upcoming sports drama flick Hurricane Season. The story follows a high school basketball coach in Marrero, Louisiana, a year after Hurricane Katrina, who puts together a team of players from different schools as they work together to win the state championship.
Directed by Tim Story, Bow will act alongside a star studded cast including Forest Whitaker, Isaiah Washington, Lil’ Wayne, Tarra Riggs, J.B. Smoove and others.
Hurricane Season is currently scheduled to hit theaters March 2009.
