Writing on Twitter a few days after no updates, Bow Wow thanked his fans for supporting him through thick and thin.

“Took some time off got my mind right. Some call me crazy i say im normal. YMCMB Thanks to my fans for holding me down. I needed dat sh*t,” Bow Wow tweeted November 12th. (Bow Wow’s Twitter)

Bow Wow had last tweeted a week ago about regretting his rap career.

“I swear i be wishing i was dead sometimes. Because i feel like that’s the only way ill get peace.,” Bow tweeted Saturday (November 6).

“People don’t know me man. Yall don’t … start looking at Shad. Not Bow wow. F*ck Bow. I go through sh*t daily. I’m Just like yall”

“I sacrificed my life for this Hip Hop sh*t. I put my “REAL” life on hold. If i could do it over…. I wudda went to school. Got me a reg job.” (Bow Wow’s Twitter)

Bow’s tweets caught the attention of artists like Joe Budden and Soulja Boy Tell Em who shared their concern.

“are you ok dude @bowwow or you trying to reach a million followers?,” Soulja tweeted after Bow Wow’s messages.

“its gone be ok @BowWow NOTHING is worth killing yourself over brother. Let God handle it” (Soulja Boy’s Twitter)

In a prior interview, Bow Wow talked about his upcoming untitled Cash Money Records debut being a controversial LP.

“This album will be my most personal and probably most controversial because of the title,” Bow said in an interview. “Some might hate on it, but it’s true. It’s going to make people understand why I’m feeling like that. I haven’t announced the title, but I pretty much have it confirmed in my head…There’s a certain perception of me. But I’m ready to open up and give the world all of me. I had to sacrifice acting up an image that I never wanted in the first place, and I did it because it was the only situation that was going to put my mother in the right place and take care of my family. But it doesn’t feel good doing sh*t that you don’t really feel good about. I never felt like I could be me. Now, I’m ready to say if you don’t like it, than you don’t like me.” (VIBE)
